Our machinery is growing steadily

Agtos plant for Brixen (headquarters)

A fourth aluminum shot blasting machine was added to the machine park in Brixen.

This reliable machine uses high-speed blasting with aluminum granulate to remove burrs that occur when punching components and to round off sharp-edged areas. This process also gives our die cast parts a uniform, matt, shiny surface.

Two to six employees can work on this new aluminum shot blasting system at the same time, which makes it possible to blast up to 25,000 components per day.

High pressure die casting machine (HPDC) for Laurens

A new HPDC machine was recently put into operation in Laurens. This is the second machine of this size (1400 tons) at our plant in South Carolina. It was purchased as an investment for a major order of a known car manufacturer in the USA, to produce the E-axle for a platform.

A total of nine HPDC machines are now in operation at our site in the USA:

  • five HPDC machines with 900 tons

  • two HPDC machines with 1050 tons

  • two HPDC machines with 1400 tons

We now have over 60 die casting machines in the Alupress Group.
